Vancouver’s Giant Ant are a motion and animation studio who do some world class work. We could do a much longer post about them, but we decided to stick to highlighting their animation and we’ll return back to their live action work another time. Each of Giant Ants projects are overflowing with craft and love for the work. It oozes off the screen. The studio has a range of styles suited to each client – from retro early animation to more the more abstract and emotive. They allow painterly techniques into their work – particularly evident in the stunning piece for Stickboy – a very striking and haunting piece of animation about bullying. When work moves you like this … you know it’s good.
