Montreal-based Deux Huit Huit’s calling card is the shape-shifting nature of the huge range of their work, from branding to web development to mobile— and everything in between. There’s the loud, punchy comic-book style of the Montreal Impact’s website on one hand, and the sophisticated and old-fashioned focus on type for Mercantile’s branding on the other. Somehow, they find time to showcase both ongoing and self-initiated projects, with a commitment to success and self-improvement. Whatever this studio seems to try its hand at seems to turn to gold; their focus on knowing their clients’ stories— and telling them thoughtfully— will serve them well.
