Scott Martin, a.k.a. Burnt Toast Creative, is a Toronto-based illustrator and motion designer whose clients include Red Bull Canada, Dropbox, and Fast Company. Throughout all his work, Martin applies a lighthearted cartoon-based, pastel-coloured style to offbeat subjects and scenes— “Physics,” for example, depicts the bloody consequences of being squashed under a heavy object. He also explores themes of addiction, fast food, and facelifts, all through this signature lens, darker subjects laced with cleverness and humour.
